1. Who we are
Scott & Sons Meats (“we”, “us”) is a family business in Perth, Western Australia, selling lamb and beef packs. Scott & Sons Meats is a trading name used under licence by Scott & Sons Group Pty Ltd (ABN 66 700 696 680). This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and how we look after it. You can contact us about it at scottandsonsmeats@gmail.com.
2. What we collect
When you fill in our order form we collect your first and last name, mobile number, email address, suburb and street address (if you give it), the packs you're interested in, how often you'd consider ordering, and anything you write in the notes box.
If you email, call or message us, we keep a record of that conversation and the contact details you use.
When you pay us by bank transfer, we see the account name and reference on the payment.
We don't ask for your card or bank details on this website, and we don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
3. How we use your information
We use your details to contact you about your order, confirm what you'd like, arrange payment and organise delivery.
We also use what you tell us to plan how much meat to order each month and to improve our packs.
We won't add you to a marketing list or send you promotions unless you've told us you'd like that, and you can ask us to stop at any time.
4. Who we share it with
We don't sell or rent your personal information.
We only share it where we need to in order to fill your order, such as with someone delivering your order, or where the law requires us to.
This website is hosted by Netlify, which receives and stores order form submissions for us, and order notifications come to us by Gmail. Both services may store information on servers outside Australia, including in the United States.
5. How we keep it safe
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. Only the people at Scott & Sons who handle orders can see it.
We keep your details for as long as we need them for your orders and our records, and then delete them.
6. Accessing or correcting your information
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us and we'll respond within 30 days.
7. Questions or complaints
If you have a question or concern about how we've handled your information, email us at scottandsonsmeats@gmail.com or call 0459 795 491. We'll do our best to sort it out quickly.
If you're not happy with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
